For so many books in this series, we have been hearing about Murhder’s insanity, and how he went rogue and is hiding in some place in North Carolina. In The Savior we finally get to meet him and learn what he did to get himself kicked out of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Is insanity really a viable explanation for the revenge and deaths he caused due to being tortured, or is it just an excuse used to remove someone from your presence that you believed betrayed you and you no longer trust their intentions? Can a person truly be forgiven? And in the midst of a new threat, the shadows that reanimate the dead vampire, should they take the chance?
