What if Belle was forced into confinement in the mysterious castle not to save her father, but because she was bitten by a werewolf? A very clever twist on the old standby story. But, this time the Duke (werewolf) doesn’t know how he became a werewolf. He was never bitten. He is a magician, which could cause people to want to curse him. By even the fairy godmother does not know how it happened or how to fix it. All anyone knows is that Belle must stay with the Duke for three months until they can be sure she will not become a werewolf, and if she falls in love with the Duke, all the better.
