Danville Public Library will be closed on July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
We will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on July 5.
Danville Public Library will be closed on Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day.
We will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30.
We are currently renovating the outdoor book drops. Please bring your items inside to return them.
Online databases and eBooks are still available while we are closed.
Wednesday, November 2: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Friday, November 4: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Curbside and 2nd Floor Access only!
Wednesday, November 23: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursday, November 24: CLOSED
Friday, November 25: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Library is curbside pickup only from 9am to 3pm August 5 and 6.
Normal hours resume on Monday August 8th.
Danville Public Library will suspend building access to the public for browsing and programming beginning Monday, January 3, 2022.
Patrons may continue to reserve items for curbside pick-up. Interlibrary loan craft kits will continue to be available. Items may be returned to the outside book drops. A temporary computer lab will be accessible in the first floor meeting room along with copy, print and fax services.
Curbside pickup and computer lab hours will be Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The Library will be closing early at 5pm on Thursday 23rd.
The Library will be closed on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th for Christmas.
The Libary will be closing early on Nov 24th at 5pm.
We will be closed all day on Nov 25th for Thanksgiving.
We will be open our normal hours the following day.
The library is currently facing a phone outage. You are unable to call the library, or send faxes to or from the library. The library is still open for service and you are welcome to reach us via email or chat.
