During a backpacking trip after college, Chelsea Martin falls in love three times and gets news that sends her home. Seven years later according to her father, who is going to be married in a few months, she has closed her heart to even of the possibility of falling in love. Fearing her father is on to something, she goes back to Ireland, France and Italy to reconnect to a time when she was happy, outgoing and big hearted.
Jenn McKinlay can get you with all the feels. You can feel the harsh truth when spoken, denial of falling in love, revelations from the past. This book may be a romance at heart but there is a dash of self-discovery as well. This is a great summer read while out in the sun. Paris Is Always A Good Idea might be a quick read but it has a lot of heart.
