A nice little short story. The main characters, Bartleby and James, are consulting detectives much like Sherlock Holmes, in whose time this story takes place. The pacing is fast, and the characters are likable. I would have liked to see this story as a full-length novel rather than just a short story. I enjoyed the story and would like to read other Bartleby and James mysteries.
