Your community. Your story. Your Voice.
What do you love about Danville? What challenges do you see? What do you hope comes next?
We’re looking for groups of 4–6 friends, coworkers, neighbors, family members, book club members, church groups, or teammates to join a recorded community conversation at Danville Public Library as part of a nationwide project documenting the American experience.
This isn’t a debate. There are no right or wrong answers. Just real people having real conversations about life in our community.
✨ Your conversation will become part of a national collection helping capture what communities across America are thinking and feeling as our nation approaches its 250th anniversary.
🎁 As a thank-you for participating, everyone will receive a goody bag filled with gifts and library goodies!
✅ Gather your group of 4–6 people
✅ Pick a date and time that works for you
✅ Spend 60–90 minutes talking about the community you call home
✅ Leave your mark on history
This program is made possible by a partnership with the American Conversation Project.
The Library is committed to making programs accessible to all. If you would like an accommodation, please email the Community Relations Administrator at btruscelli@danvillepubliclibrary.org or call 217-477-5220 ext. 111.
